ACTIVITY MORNINGS

We had a very successful activity morning at the end of November with 17 Volunteers turning up. They were warmed up during the tea break with a glass of mulled wine. We have now completed clearing three of the nine glades and building either dead hedges or traditional fencing around them as well as protecting a number of oak saplings we found in the glades. In addition we have cleared existing paths which had been obstructed by fallen branches.  We will continue our work in the Jan-Mar period.

-Saturday January 13th
-Saturday February 10th
-Saturday March 3rd
- starting at 10am until 12.30. We all meet at the Temple Fortune Gate at 10am.

Anyone arriving late telephone 07973541264 to find out where we are working n the wood

WALKS

These will continue next spring.

EVENING MEETINGS

Do not forget the next evening meeting will take place on January 16th starting at 7.30pm in Fellowship House. The speaker who has just completed a survey on lichen in Big Wood will discuss his findings and tell us all about lichens.

It should be a very interesting evening.

As usual drinks and nibbles will be available.
